Procurement Drop-off – Four before Winter Break

We have four opportunities for you to drop off your Auction items before Winter break!

The Auction team will collect your procurement forms or items at each of the State of the School presentations this week. Tuesday, February 6 and Thursday, February 8 at 8:45 or 7:00pm.

You may turn in your procurement forms or items on Thursday, February 15th. As part of this “flash” drop, families turning in forms on that day will be entered into a drawing for $50 in Scrip. We will be waiting for you at kid drop off!

Auction Items

We are very excited about the amazing donations that we have received already! Here are a few that will be available for your bids in April:

  • One $25 gift card to La Isla Cuisine
  • 8th Grade Graduation – Best Seats in the House
  • Hawaii Raffle – $100 chance to win a Kona condo that sleeps six (3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms) with an ocean view for Spring Break 2019
  • Riverfront Cabin in Leavenworth
  • Four private horse riding lessons
  • A Color Portrait of your Home
  • Two night in Suncadia
  • Highland Ice Arena Ice-Skating Party for Ten

Do you still need to procure your Auction items? Did you know that each family is asked to procure or donate $250 to the Auction?

Here are some items we still need:

  • Gift cards – We have selected the gift cards that sell well. All you need to do is purchase from our Signup Genius below and remember to use St. John Scrip to purchase and your donation will do more for our school.

We are accepting items or cash donations every day until the procurement deadline of March 1, 2018. For all those families who have submitted their Auction items by March 1st, the kids will receive Free Dress Friday on March 2nd.

The Auction is looking for artwork to be used for our Gala Event thank you notes. All students are encouraged to submit their creations to the Auction by March 1st. The winner will receive $25 in the scrip of their choice.

“Flash” Procurement Drop-off

Auction News – January 23, 2018

 

Auction Wine Tasting was a Great Success!

We want to thank the over 65 people who attended the Auction Wine Tasting event last Friday. We tasted some truly delicious wines, and the wines with the winning votes will be offered for purchase at the Auction in April. We also had a taste of the Gifford Hirlinger wines that will be served at the Auction – and the response these offerings was fantastic. We raised over $2,000 to help underwrite the Auction, thank you! We look forward to seeing you all on Friday, April 20th at Fremont Studios for the Auction itself, we have some amazing items!

We would also like to thank CJ Dean and Julie Skinner for coordinating an amazing event and the many volunteers who helped make it happen: Lisa Collins, Irene Wainaina, Nancy Alton, Lisette Nenninger, Mary Kearney, Andrew & Lauren Exnicios, Brian & Rachel Berryessa and Betsy Rivera were on hand to set-up, serve and clean-up. Thank you! Auction News – January 9, 2018

Auction Wine Tasting- January 19, 2018

Tickets are now available for the St. John Auction Wine Tasting on Friday, January 19th at 7 pm in Egan Hall. We will have over 25 amazing wines to sample and cast your vote for your favorite wine to be offered at the Gala Dinner in April. If you liked what you tasted, you may purchase a bottle or two to bring home! We will have savory and sweet bites, beer and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy.  All guests will be entered into a drawing to win a selected Magnum of wine. Grab a friend and join the fun! Tickets are $35 per person.

We will need some volunteers to share their time and talent with us to help set up, serve, clean up and donate food – visit our sign-up genius to volunteer! All proceeds will go to the school’s operating budget.

Second Procurement Turn-in

The next official St. John Auction procurement drop-off is Wednesday, January 17 at morning drop-off; simply hand in your Auction item(s) with your procurement form (found here) when you drop-off your kids and you will be done! For ALL those families who have turned in your procurement items or forms by January 17th, you will be entered into a raffle for two complimentary tickets to the St. John Wine Tasting on Friday, January 19th.
