Welcome to the St. John auction website

Preparations are underway for this year’s auction to be held April 27 and 28, 2012. The theme this year is “Carnaval! Party With A Purpose” and was chosen because of its roots in Catholic tradition and the festive mood it evokes. In Rio, Carnaval is a weeklong celebration that prepares participants for Christ’s death and resurrection. The party has a purpose and so does our auction.

The purpose of the St. John School auction is to bring families together in a festive environment to raise money for the school. The monies raised go directly to the school’s operating costs and allows our children to continue to receive a superior Catholic education.

Our goal is to have all families donate a minimum of two quality items to the auction. A printable procurement form is available on this page. The deadline to submit items for the auction is March 15th. Items may be brought to the school office, and we will be curbside at drop-off to accept your donations on the mornings of February 7th, February 23rd, and March 6th.

Thank you in advance for your contributions to the auction. We are blessed to have so many wonderful families in the St. John community. Please contact us if you have questions.

St. John School's 2012 Action Underwriting Party

February 11, 2012 at 7 p.m.

Egan Hall

RSVP by February 3rd

Please be our guest for an evening of wine tasting, delicious food, beer and socializing to underwrite the costs for the 2012 St. John School Auction, “Carnaval! Party with a Purpose.”

All adults are welcome to join your fellow St. John Parents and raise a glass at this night of fundraising. Previous years’ tastings have been a great success, allowing us to fully underwrite the cost of wine served at the auction.

In the spirit of raising funds for our school, the minimum donation to attend this event is $65 per person, paid in advance. If you are looking for an easy procurement option you can increase your donation to $100, and it will be considered one of your procured auction items.

Reservations are required by February 3, 2012. Simply fill out the reservation form and return it to the school office with your payment. Please mark your envelope “auction underwriting event” and make your checks payable to “St. John School Auction.”

NEW THIS YEAR!

We will be selling a Special Edition St. John’s labeled wine from Hence Cellars. Come meet the winemaker, Henderson Orchard, who will be pouring this wine for the tasting. The wine will be sold for $45 per bottle or $240 per case ($20/bottle). This wine normally retails for $36 - $42 per bottle. This is a great opportunity to buy quality wine with a great presentation and a portion of the proceeds support your school at the same time!

Pre-purchase your case of wine by filling out the order form and it will be delivered to your home. You will also have the option or purchase wine the night of the party.

If you any questions regarding reservations, please contact Sue Kelly at susanekelly@comcast.net or Kimberly Butler at K.Butler@F5.com. For wine, please contact Katie Burckhardt at kgburckhardt@comcast.net.

Thank you for your support of our school.
